Apple has slipped out a ‘special’ invite for media for an event
that is supposed to be held on March 27.The event will be taking place at Lane Tech College Prep High
School in Chicago, Illinois, US.
Since Apple is holding the
event in a school, it is being assumed that the company could be announcing
something in the education field.
The invite shows the Apple logo with the text ‘Let’s take a field trip.’ Further it reads, “Join us to hear creative new ideas for teachers and students.”
Rumors Says that Apple might introduce budget versions of the iPad and MacBook Air as they fit in the ‘education’ theme. As mentioned by MacRumors, the company could announce the cheaper 9.7-inch iPad device at around $259. This model was launched last year in March.
A
MacBook Air priced around $799 to $899 is also expected.
In terms of accessories,
Apple’s AirPower charging mat
could be introduce on March 27. Some reports suggested that it could arrive
this month.
Apple has already revealed its WWDC 2018 conference dates. The conference meant for developers will be taking place from June 4 through June 8. Apple will be holding the event at the McEnery Convention Center, San Jose, US.
